Around SBN: Celtics Need To Get In The Zone

To make it even worse, its for an "elbow strain", not a pulled hammy or something else not in his pitching arm. Hopefully it proves to be just a strain and nothing that requires the dreaded Dr. Andrews to intervene.

NO NO NO NOOOOO

YIKES!!!

Every time I see Dr. James Andrews even mentioned for one of our guys, I cringe. Hopefully he just needs a couple weeks off.

Oh I know, but...

Rhyno18 even posting the name has the hair on my neck standing up. Not saying I’m worrying, yet.

Smart move on the Braves part

It’s probably nothing, but he’s probably worked himself a little hard this year. Definitely a good idea to shut him down for now. He’s just a kid, don’t need to rush with him.

6 Weeks

Out 6 weeks with partially torn ligament in pitching elbow.

Partially torn ligament in his pitching elbow is...

…not good as it often leads to a fully torn ligament. Fortunately, TJ surgery is good and becoming routine, and Vizcaino is young.

While he should be fine eventually, this shows why you can never have too many young talented pitchers—-it is too easy to lose them on the way up. Remember TINSTAAPP.
