One Week To Go Until SB Nation Atlanta!!!
One week to go until the launch of SB Nation Atlanta and gondeee-style dominance of the Atlanta sports scene. Remember to save the date, next Thursday, June 24th, and report to the Taco Mac on Roswell Road (just inside the Perimeter) for the SB Nation Atlanta launch party and free top-shelf booze and beer (Crown Royal, Captain Morgan, Guinness, Smithwicks and others).
RSVP here. I hope to see all of you there!

Man! Stupid living in Philly...
Smithwicks is BY FAR my favorite beer. Good choice! Oh, and Captain Morgan and Coke is basically the only mixed drink I go for.. damn you and your free tasty booze that’s too far away!!
God typed "iddqd" before creating Jason Heyward.
Wanna know what's amazing?
Para Bay mixed with a Sonic strawberry slush. It’s like heaven in a cup.

Top shelf alcohol at a taco joint? Seems weird.

Not a taco place, more of a Chilies type restuarant with probably the best selection of beer in ATL.

Kind of an odd moniker for it then.

It's a sports bar
Started up as a wings joint. Story has it that the guys came down from Buffalo, wanting to start a local wings place, but were too lazy/cheap to change the sign where they bought out their original location.
There’s some Tex/Mex menu choices, and wings, but it’s really known for having excellent beer selection, with like 50 things on tap any given night, and plenty of seasonal rotation. Great place to try out some local micros.
There's a location...
in Chattanooga also.
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." Taco Mac serves a LOT more than mexican food. They really should be called Beer Mac with their selection of beers on tap.
The wings.....
Get the wings.

Meet you people face-to-face?
Shudder. AND free booze? Totally gonna shoot eight years of sobriety down the drain with that combo.
Yeah, the Prado looks fabulous these days, many light years removed from when I lived in the dump across the street. Taco Mac was up the road back then, but still within stumbling distance (if you didn’t get mugged or set on fire on the way). Their tap wall was so pretty; it just made you want to walk along it and “weeeeeez” the beer. I don’t know if you can beat the old place’s patio, though. Sigh, Sunday afternoon motorcycle rides ending with wings, beer and music on the deck overlooking Roswell Rd, yelling across the street at the people on the deck at Good Ol Days and 2 doors up at American Pie…ahhh, nice.
Can I get you a drink sweetie?

YOU CAN START BEING FUN AGAIN!
People will come Ray. The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again.

I was gonna make a remark about that, but didn’t think you were around anymore, and no one else would know what I was talking about. :P
I wander in and out of TC every once in a while! :)

The trolls would do nothing but complain about the food and drinks and seats.

2 Things
1) Where’s the game thread.
2) Go to this get together. I went to the Boston one and had to talk to some alright people that lack Braves enthusiasm. They did by my beer though.
