Open Thread 5/27: Braves at Marlins 2

Another open thread for your late night chatting pleasure. Huddy pitched good, especially when one considers the driving rain he was pitching in. It's up to the bullpen now...

I’m 20 miles from the Ted. Can’t walk that. When the team’s out of town I’m with my 90 year old grandparents, so I have to drive them somewhere on Saturday! Can I wear pants to the synagogue? Won’t go to any religious gathering that I’m forced to wear prescribed clothing. Am I allowed to speak and/or sing? Again, won’t participate in any religious faction that restricts me based on my gender. The other stipulations you mention are doable.

It's hard to say what's been most impressive. The seamless jump from AA? The ability to hit for average? The ability to hit for power? The 18 walks in 111 trips to the plate? The flair for the dramatic? When you're trying to isolate the most impressive aspect of Jason Heyward's game, there's a lot to choose from, and it's only been a month and a half.

Interesting Question

MVP to this point. Heyward or Prado?

It's hard to say what's been most impressive. The seamless jump from AA? The ability to hit for average? The ability to hit for power? The 18 walks in 111 trips to the plate? The flair for the dramatic? When you're trying to isolate the most impressive aspect of Jason Heyward's game, there's a lot to choose from, and it's only been a month and a half.

by Richie Grogan on May 27, 2010 10:29 PM EDT reply actions

No question. Heyward

I think it is Heyward

Because of the power numbers but how many times did he drive Prado in?
