Not as often as Tommy. Hudson doesn’t have walks as one of his weaknesses. Tommy does. Ask me in August and I may change my mind, but right now, I am more comfortable with Hudson on the mound.
Speaking of walks, KK has looked like he has regained his control lately. That is awesome.

I’m looking at their BB% right now and you’re wrong. Hanson’s start tonight won’t help though. I know for his career Hudson is normally a walk miser, but we’re talking about at this point during this season.
KK has looked solid for two straight outings. Too bad he left at like 80 pitches both times.

No, that actually isn’t what I was talking about. I know Huddy has had some issues lately with the walks, but generally speaking, he doesn’t walk a lot of guys. Hanson has always walked a lot of guys though.
To me, that says Hanson has to make an improvement to become better, while Hudson just has to go back to doing whatever he was doing before.
It makes sense in my head.

First Time I’ve watched them on television in weeks. They look different here than they do on radio.

I do notice that a really good defensive play looks better than it sounds. I can see now why we keep Escobar in the lineup. And how about that arm on Melky for that perfect strike for an out. And then there’s the bat waking up — I think he’s been listening to Joe Simpson.
I only wish that the radio was in synch with the TV — would rather listen to Don Sutton. I remember the old days when you could have Ernie Johnson every night by just switching the audio
