This one is on Bobby
Why the fuck would you bring Saito in for the 3rd straight night?

really? 4 – 0 lead…. EOF and Wags had plenty of lead to work with too

so our bullpen isn’t capable of keeping a two run lead?
"I should have been like, 'Thank you, new guy. Don’t try the veal!'" - Chief Noc-A-Homa (Hohn's offspring)
its the fact that
saito is 40 years old and fragile. why pitch him on his 3rd straight day with a 4 run lead?
by drumzalicious on May 19, 2010 9:50 PM EDT up reply actions
fragile? he’s a professional baseball player.. 3 innings on 3 separate days? come off it…
"I should have been like, 'Thank you, new guy. Don’t try the veal!'" - Chief Noc-A-Homa (Hohn's offspring)
No, he seriously should not have been pitched tonight. He’s 40 years old and has a history of injuries. He’s not used to pitching that many games in a row.

whatever, i’m much more concerned with the inconsistent strike zone the past two innings. i think it’s ridiculous when a coach gets 100% of the blame for the players…
"I should have been like, 'Thank you, new guy. Don’t try the veal!'" - Chief Noc-A-Homa (Hohn's offspring)
I blame Bobby for Saito. I blame Wagner for Wagner.

wager struck him out two pitches before he HR’d
"I should have been like, 'Thank you, new guy. Don’t try the veal!'" - Chief Noc-A-Homa (Hohn's offspring)
That may be true, but it’s still his responsibility to not hang a fat pitch over the plate, even if it is strike 5.

by EricGreggWasPaidOff on May 19, 2010 9:58 PM EDT up reply actions
ok
i understand you. i really do. the point of the matter is that in the 8th inning. heck in the 7th inning bobby could have used other pitchers at that time. the better thing would have been to use Chavez, Kimbrel, or Venters. Then the 8th use Moylan or EoF.
We had a 4 run lead there was no reason to use our 8th inning set up man who we signed knowing that he wouldn’t be able to be used on 3 consecutive days to often especially when he has pitched so much this month.
by drumzalicious on May 19, 2010 9:58 PM EDT up reply actions
so our bullpen isn’t capable of keeping atwofour run lead?

Yes, it is....
If you put a title on the post, then others can click the title and make the picture go away….
It is an option, and should be done.

walkoffs all up in this bitch
If Derek Jeter clubbed a baby seal on earth day while wearing a mink coat and crocodile skin boots while burning tires on an iceberg, the reaction would be "Its OK Derek, you’re a Yankee." -First mammal to wear pants
Walkoffs
how do they work?

Glad we won!!!
But why in the hell did BCocks pull KK after 6 shutout innings and ONLY 79 FREAKING PITCHES!!! And on top of that puts Saito in for the 3rd straight night. Give him a break!!
by Southern IN Chopper on May 19, 2010 10:13 PM EDT reply actions
He had blister issues, you could tell he wasn’t comfortable in the sixth
by BraveSaluki on May 19, 2010 10:14 PM EDT up reply actions
OK
If that’s the case, I appreciate the info and am glad Bobby played it safe, but use O’F or Kimbrel in the 7th and Moylan in the 8th then. Saito needed a night off.

Don’t look now, but we’ve won 2 in a row!
When you've said Jason Heyward, you've said it all.........

Some days you’re the dog, some days you’re the hydrant, and tomorrow, Mr. Leake, you’ll be the latter.
When you've said Jason Heyward, you've said it all.........
I dunno
His name suggests he is the former.

We try to throw the Cardinals a bone by beating the Reds, and they respond by trailing to the Fish. Worthless songbirds
The Cubs are my most hated team unless they’re playing someone else in the NL East. Glad to see they did their job tonight

I wish I could get this gif tattooed on the inside of my left eye…
Brandon W: "What's up Heyward?"
Jason H: "Hangin with Freddie, What you up to Brandon?"
Brandon W: "nothing much."

If anyone wants a funny read, read the reds fans comments on redreporter
It starts out them fearing that Heyward is coming up 4th
Then when he come up they get mean saying they can easily get him and making fun of the chant.
Then they are all pissed as shit when we win

Heyway drove it in
But Prado won the game. Freaking all the way out. Not even thinking about stopping!
Co-MVPs: Heyward/Prado
Best Effort by a pitcher that didnt get the win: KK
