Scott Proctor Starting From Scratch
He's been in extended spring training, re-working his way back. The good news is that we'll be able to replace the weak leak in the bullpen in a couple of months if everything progresses as it should, and that means the Braves will also retain the rights to him for next season.

meh
I guess he’s better than Chavez. Then again who isn’t?
So much for the he might be ready on opening day idea...
still have hopes for him. Although I wouldn’t say he’s needed to fill a weak link. Dunn, Hyde, Marek, Gearrin, among others are already looking pretty good in the high minors and could easily fill a hole now if we needed. If Jesse Chavez is the worst we got, that’s not too shabby. He’s been bad lately, but his career #s show better than this bad stretch.
Ah, I had forgotten about Proctor
hope he can help us in July or August.
"Batting 4th and doing the catching, says here this guy weighs 210 pounds...I'm not buyin it! It's Brian McCann."
Who would Proctor be replacing IF
JJ returns from the DL before Proctor is promoted to the bigs? I’m assuming JJ will be ready before Proctor which would mean he would take Jesse’s spot on the team pushing Medlen back to the ’pen.
