5/14/10 - GBraves 3 - Ironpigs 0 (A Recap in Pictures)
Of course, my wife and I got to the park after first pitch (again) and we almost missed ALL of the offense on the night as the Braves put up a 3 spot in the bottom of the first. Luckily we were standing on the concourse watching when Timmons ripped his double down the LF line to score 2. That was all the scoring we saw.
It was Jersey auction night, for the Rally foundation.

These are great!! Thanks for sharing, yet again. Mine from M-Braves/Chatt didn’t turn out so well…..the lighting was SO different there and I didnt’ have something adjusted well, so the night shots are a little fuzzy and grainy. Your pics are always incredible!!
Thanks. It’s tough when the sun goes down and the lights come on. Coolray field could use a few more lights for my liking, but it helps that the lights at this park are newer and thus a big brighter. My ISO (camera term) on my camera was still up in the 4000-5000 range which is high, but still salvageable. If I could, I would only go to all day games and make sure all games were played during the day when the light was better. :-)
If you say so...
not a photographer so you may be right, but to this untrained eye those night pictures are still pretty damn good.

with all these successful rehab starts its just a matter of time before we see JoJo back in ATL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-(
Good pictures, makes me want to go to a G-Braves game! I live so close, it’s a shame i haven’t gone to one yet.
Jason Heyward bunted once, and it ended up being a homer.
Anytime you want to go to a game and shoot and talk photography I’m up for that. :-)
I’m not sure if I’m the right person to teach a class…but I am happy to pass on anything I might know. I’ll even let you use the big 300mm f/2.8 lens! Be warned though, you should start lifting weights now to get used to it. ;-)
Lol, the 300 is all I ever seem to have on mine these days so I may be ok! Sucks when I need the 55, though, ‘cause I don’t have big enough pockets or a belt to have it convenient enough. Careful, I will take you up on the offer!
It’s pretty far out, but just made plans last night to go to the 7/9 game at Gwinnett, and the 7/24 one in Rome.
I took the day off to go to the 7/7 Gwinnett Game…it’s a Wednesday afternoon game…the only weekday afternoon game they will have this year.
