Atlanta Braves Fan Confidence on Cloud 9
It must be said that Atlanta Braves fans are very optimistic people, and that optimism has been reflected in the Fan Confidence Poll (FCP), measured each week here on Talking Chop. The last measurement was taken last Friday before the start of the season, and following the trend of the entire off-season, the Fan Confidence took another step in the positive direction.
The previous measurement was a solid 80% confidence, already an FCP record, and this week that record was broken again as the FCP registered an 83% confidence. And all of this was before the events of Monday afternoon, the blowout win against the Cubs, and the shot heard round the world by Jason Heyward.
If this keeps up in any form or fashion, the Atlanta Braves Fan Confidence might go through the roof. It's a great time to be a Braves fan, and hopefully we can keep that feeling going all season.

I was already at a 10...
…Before the season started. I know it’s only 1 game, but it looks as though we are going to be able to score some runs this year. Escobar is a perfect fit in the 6 hole. He was an RBI machine in that spot last year. He should have some more runners on for him this year. And if he doesn’t drive them all in, well, there’s this kid from Henry County batting 7th, who looks like he might do okay.
