The Gwinnett Braves have announced their Opening Day roster:
Pitchers: Mike Dunn, Cory Gearrin, Mariano Gomez, Tim Gustafson, Craig Kimbrel, Jeff Lyman, James Parr, Scott Proctor, Todd Redmond, Chris Resop, Ryne Reynoso, Jonny Venters
Catchers: J.C. Boscan, Clint Sammons
Infielders: Barbaro Canizares, Freddie Freeman, Brandon Hicks, J.C. Holt, Joe Thurston, Wes Timmons
Outfielders: Gregor Blanco, Brent Clevlen, Mitch Jones, Matt Young
Veteran pitcher Vladimir Nunez will begin the season on the disabled list.
Mississippi is the only one of Atlanta's four full season teams, who all begin their seasons this coming Thursday, that hasn't announced its roster yet.
