Roy Oswalt loses childhood home in tornado
Pretty miraculous that just about all that was left standing was the closet his mom was hiding in. Its a shame that all his memorabilia was unsalvageable. I've always liked Oswalt, he just seems like a good ol' boy.

Oh wow...
That’s sad….
A lotta room in right-center, if he hits one there we can dance in the streets. The 2-1. Swung, line drive left field! One run is in! Here comes Bream! Here's the throw to the plate! He is...safe! Braves win! Braves win! Braves win! Braves win!...Braves win! They may have to hospitalize Sid Bream; he's down at the bottom of a huge pile at the plate. They help him to his feet. Frank Cabrera got the game winner! The Atlanta Braves are National League champions again! This crowd is going berserk, listen!
At the risk of being cliche, things could have been much worse. Roy’s dad was out of town, and his mom had a good tornado plan. The only things that were destroyed were material items — granted, some of them were of superior personal value, but they can be replaced.
I wish the rest of the Deep South had been so lucky.
I picked the wrong day to quit sniffing Matt Cain.
This should, once again, remind everyone...
that baseball is just a freakin game.
