Chicks dig the long ball.
They also dig back to back hits.

but in all honesty
probably shouldn’t have been running from 3rd there
I wrote “2 hits and a homer. Consecutively. Make it so.” in the previous thread. We got the two hits. Now just need the homer.

I wonder if beerman2619 will join us now that we've scored
Bad news Braves I for one can’t wait for Bobby Cox to be gone. Lets face it this guy hasn’t done a good job managing this team for a long time. Good god this team is terrible wonder if this team could beat the braves of the 80’s i followed. Stuck with them then and i will stick with them now but this season is over quick for these clowns. Derek Lowe is the ace of this staff ha i think that says it all. And for all you clowns that say fans shouldn’t get upset with the way this team is playing don’t have a clue. Just because a fan gets upset about there team doesn’t mean you are a better fan so give it a rest. This team is terrible that is a fact.

Run 3: Runners on first and third—tapper back to the mound. Conrad (on 3rd) broke on contact, throw to the plate from the pitcher was waaaay wide. Escobar went to third on the play.
Run 4: Immediately after, Chipper hit a ground ball between first and second. Fielder stopped it but Chipper beat the throw.

I think that if you look around baseball you will see plenty of veterans who are also doing poorly. It’s early, things can change.

I just think we got ahead of ourselves
In spring training and in the first couple of weeks. We will turn it around, but realistically we might be a year or two from truly competing. Just too many Charlie’s at this point.
That may be the case. I still do think we have Wild Card potential. Winning the division was never a possibility in my mind.

As bad as we're playing now
I recall the Detroit Tigers whom after getting Miguel Cabrera, Edgar Renteria, and Dontrelle Willis were pegged to score 1,000 runs and win the World Series. They started the season 0-8, after getting swept by the Kansas City Royals

at least I don’t have to post those unicorn and Riley pics every game, since they didn’t do anything.

This crap is ridiculous. From two great come from behind wins in a row to 7 straight losses. Does anyone still think it is too early to worry?
Yes it is still to early to worry too frigging much. Did you watch the game?
We did very well and our worst hitters woke up! We will win tomorrow, they are just warming up to it cause they haven’t done it in a week. Yeah a week. You folks make it sound like a year ago.
