It's time to mute your TVs and turn on the radio feed, folks, because the Braves are on ESPN's game of the week. If you don't have a radio feed, well, I pity your poor, Joe-Morganed soul. I can hear it now--"To win this game, the Braves are going to have to score some runs," and so on.
At any rate, the pitching matchup will be Tommy Hanson vs. Mike Pelfrey. Both are off to good starts, though Pelfrey has been all but unhittable so far. Let's hope that he falls back to earth in spectacular fashion tonight. Chipper Jones will not be playing because of despite his injured hip (he's day to day playing even though he's obviously still hurt).
I won't be on the game thread tonight, but please, everyone try to be positive. I know it's tough when the Braves aren't playing well, but you're not doing anyone any good by saying players suck or questioning their commitment to winning. They will turn it around, and hopefully tonight. Thank you.
