I don’t think it’s to that point yet, but this team definitely needs to turn it around PRONTO.

Behind the nationals…
So much for winning one for Bobby. Spring training was good. We were in first place a few times during spring, believe it or not.
This is just sad. I wonder what we’ll be like when Bobby leaves…

More magic from 22!

A good series of games can potentially put the Braves back in second place (or even first) in a week. Yes, the team sucks right now, but moaning like “Oh we’re in last place we’ll never get out of this hole we’re doomed!!!11” doesn’t help anything. Everyone is still within three games of each other, so as long as the Braves are within striking distance, there really shouldn’t be any complaining.

I was thinking the same thing….the 3 game difference between 1st and 5th place in the NL East….but I was still too disparaged from watching today’s game to write it up. Thanks for posting that.

Well...

As bad as I feel, looking at my fantasy squad I saw this line from my 1B so far this season:

.117 AVG. .524 OPS, 2 HR, 7 RBI, 7 Hits in 60 AB’s

That’s Mark Texeira. I as well as everybody is sure about one thing, and that’s that Tex will turn it around. But still, I’m going to keep “hoping” that this dude:

.167 AVG. 515 OPS, 2 HR, 9 RBI, 9 Hits in 54 AB’S

Turns it around too. Not at Tex level, but at least to a “decent” level. And that’s Mr. Troy Glaus.
