Open Thread 4/20: Phillies at Braves Overflow
Since Scott's nowhere to be seen, here we go:
Yes, we know how much you hate Troy Glaus. Mayhaps he's this year's 2007 Andruw Jones, placed precariously in a critical batting spot, but so far, failing to truly impress. Sad to say though, deal with it! Until the FO starts reading TC and thinks "hey, these guys have a point," they're going to roll with it.

Forget VORP, let’s come up with a stat for the size of a guy’s heart, am I right, people? We’ll call it the Eckstein Quotient. No, wait, that sounds too nerdy. Eckstein Number. Nope. Still too smart. No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
Nah
Construction around here all is done, and they finally repaired that bridge on 166, so the flood damage is basically done. There’s one street in a subdivision that’s still washed out, and it will be for a while because the city’s out of money to fix streets.
I used to live not far from there
And used to work out at the Golds in chapel hill. But then the flood hit and destroyed everything around there, and I couldn’t get to Golds without having to reach around my neck to scratch my ass. so i took the penalty fees and took my business elsewhere.
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.

I think he wanted to just get a pitch over the plate and thought Glaus was going to hit it for an out. I bet the report says that Glaus is struggling. That is why they pitch around McCann earlier in the game.

Sutton was saying, on the radio, that it looked like, as Chipper was congratulating Heyward following the homer, that he was saying “I told you he’d try to throw you the change-up.”
Yes – and he said that he was looking for it.

ATLANTA (AP) – It may have been the biggest victory of the year for the Atlanta Braves. There’s no doubt it was the biggest home run of Ron Gant’s career.
Gant’s three-run homer capped a five-run ninth inning and Atlanta continued its amazing roll with a 7-6 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday night.
