Atlanta Braves Fan Confidence Poll
If it's Monday, then it's the Atlanta Braves fan confidence poll. Yes, in case you missed it last week the FCP will now be taken every Monday during the season. As always, this poll and therefore your confidence level should encompasses several areas of the team. These areas include, but are not limited to, the team’s ownership, current management, talent, minor-league system, and general playing ability on the field. The poll will stay open for 48 hours, and then the results will be posted and graphed against the previous weeks.

I’m still at a 10 this week. Even though we got no-hit Saturday, we bounced back to win yesterday. Just like the 17-2 drubbing we took the other night in Sna Diego, the no-hitter was just one of those things. I like the way wea re playing overall. Now, if we can take 2 of 3 from the Phills, w will be on a roll.
I agree with every word, I’m amazed we have won 3 of 4 series with the drubbing, no hitter, bad travel schedule and multiple batting slumps. When the Braves start hitting, and they will, they will be very tough to beat.
Heyward is pretty good
Not to mention that we have faced some of the best pitching staffs in baseball so far.

Good point
1 game back of Philly after the starting schedules and our stats is awesome. Looking at April schedules I was expecting a lot worse.
Heyward is pretty good
Remember before opening day, we were all talking about how we would be happy to be .500 after April?
Well, I’d say that our expectations should be a little higher now.

8
I’m still at a 8 this week. I do have a couple of concerns, our starting pitching, and our LOB’s, especially RISP.
I’m confident they will make the adjustments needed to improve in these areas.
I remain optimistic and continue to think this is going to be a Fun year!
7 for me again.
When we start taking more advantage of over 20 walks in 3 games – I’ll be more than happy to punch that 8 or higher.
I’m much more encouraged than discouraged at this point.

And I think the poll should START at the number 5.
If you aren’t willing to give this organization a 5 or more – why the hell are you here (and voting in our poll) in the first place?
(steps off soapbox now – carry on)

Mets fans have to do something with all their spare time. It’s like the offseason never ended for them.

7 for me too
I have confidence Chipper, Escobar, and Diaz will come around, but I have to see Glaus and Melky start hitting consistently before I give a higher score. The bullpen has awesome so far, but I worry about how it will hold up under Bobby’s seemingly random managing.
Bobby has been rather good with his bullpen management so far. Shocking really.
The innings are pretty much evenly spread among the pitchers at approximately 5-6 innings for what I’ll call the tier 1 relievers (EOF, Wagner, Moylan, Saito, and Medlen).
6 innings in 12 games isn’t killing it for a reliever.

Gave it a 9
the fact that we are winning games with such a sparatic offense is encouraging to me. One guys like melky and Glaus come around, we’ll pick it up. (Glaus has started pounding the ball, it just happens to go right at someone. Melky on the otherhand is atleast getting deep counts, seems like he sees full count every at bat, he’ll get his avg up, I have faith). Can’t wait to see the bats pick up, we are gonna be damn good with this pitching staff.

Off days should be outlawed. After all, it’s not like ballplayers are people who have lives away from the stadium. They are circus animals who should be brought out for our amusement on demand. Drive them into the ground and when they wear out….shoot em and bring the next one off the line!

Of course, I could be wrong….
"My God! Good news fans, the Braves are showing signs of life for the first time in weeks. As a matter of fact, they appear to be beating the crap out of each other."
This post should be moved up
there’s surprisingly a lot of news on an off-day and i bet a lot of people missed this. I would’ve missed it but i accidentally scrolled down on my browser to the bottom of the page.
