Jimmy Rollins was placed on the 15-day DL, effective yesterday (April 13th). Here is the article I originally found it in: Click Here
To start, no, I'm not celebrating the fact that a player got injured. However, Rollins has started off the year hot, putting up a 1.255 OPS through the first 7 games (admittedly, that's against the Natinals and the Astros). His injury simply means he will not be in the lineup when the Braves play the Phillies April 20 - 22. Anything that weakens your opponent, obviously improves your chances to win. I just thought this might provide a glimmer of hope for all the naysayers lamenting over the Braves' slow start, and tough remaining schedule this month.
And I leave you with a fitting quote.
"So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong and to strike at what is weak." - Sun Tzu
