Hazel Mae: Jason, tell us what kind of player you are?
Jay-Hey: I’m a baseball player.

One of my all-time favorite baseball interview quotes was John Kruk way back in the nineties when some reporter saw him with a hotdog in each hand and asked him if maybe he shouldn’t watch what he ate a little better, since he was an athlete and all. Kruk’s response: “I’m not an athlete, I’m a baseball player.”
I remember my great-grandmother asking me who the fat homeless guy playing first base for the phillies was.

Thanks!
I didn’t know that Bobby only needed 87 more wins to 2500. That’s pretty cool!
"If I had a little humility, I would be perfect" - Ted Turner
In that segment with Tim Hudson, they were talking about Bobby using his starters late in the game. I always felt like he took them out more often than not. I mean, the Braves didn’t have a complete game last season, right?
2009 had three CGs from Javier Vazquez, and 2008 had one from Huddy, and one CG-L in 8IP from Jorge Campillo.
Simply put, Braves starters were just better and more capable of going the distance last year, then they were years prior. It’s a beautiful thought.
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
