Around SBN: Are The Orioles Bad Or Unlucky With Their Young Pitching?

In case you missed it or don't have MLBN, here's a page where you can watch the video. It hasn't been uploaded to the page yet, but the page says that it will be uploaded sometime today.

UPDATE: Ok, now it's up.

Hazel Mae: Jason, tell us what kind of player you are?
Jay-Hey: I’m a baseball player.

They may have to hospitalize Sid Bream!

One of my all-time favorite baseball interview quotes was John Kruk way back in the nineties when some reporter saw him with a hotdog in each hand and asked him if maybe he shouldn’t watch what he ate a little better, since he was an athlete and all. Kruk’s response: “I’m not an athlete, I’m a baseball player.”

I remember my great-grandmother asking me who the fat homeless guy playing first base for the phillies was.

I love Kruk as a character, despite the fact he was a Philly. I wish he’d leave the dark side and come over to MLBN so I could watch him more, I avoid BBTN like the plague.

Thanks!

I didn’t know that Bobby only needed 87 more wins to 2500. That’s pretty cool!

In that segment with Tim Hudson, they were talking about Bobby using his starters late in the game. I always felt like he took them out more often than not. I mean, the Braves didn’t have a complete game last season, right?

2009 had three CGs from Javier Vazquez, and 2008 had one from Huddy, and one CG-L in 8IP from Jorge Campillo.

Simply put, Braves starters were just better and more capable of going the distance last year, then they were years prior. It’s a beautiful thought.

No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
