D-Lowe's Spring Training rollercoaster
He has a solid two innings in his first appearance and heaves a huge sigh of relief that the adjustments he made in the offseason worked. His next appearance is disastrous, puts him in a foul mood and has him declaring he's glad it's still spring training so he can work out the kinks. His most recent start was great and he's now ready to seemingly take on the world. What's this next stop on this fun little emotional ride?

I'm always the glass is half full kind of guy...
I do understand compete failure though… FYF! But, I will say that watching him last night made me hopeful in his progress this spring. He had good movement on his pitches and was around 91 through the first 2 innings and then I think he topped out at 89 after that, but he threw strikes and got after the batters. Granted it was the Nationals. I say the next stop on this fun little emotional ride is a Cy Young and World Series MVP. Wouldn’t everyone just shit?!
You mark that frame an 8, and you're entering a world of pain.

Prediction:
In his next start he’ll give up 4 runs on 6 hits in 2.2 innings. Shortly after the game, Bowman will post a story on braves.com saying that Lowe has suffered a blister on his Achilles heel. Then you’ll see a quote like this:
“When I was with the Dodgers, I used to tape my Achilles before all my starts,” Lowe said.
Then here on TC we’ll suggest that Lowe tapes his entire body before he pitches, and we’ll call him Michelin Man.
The third-base umpire ran into the outfield and retrieved the biggest chunk. "It's a f***in' potato."

Lincecum's line today
The four’s are wild: 4 IP, 4 Runs, 4 ER, 4 hits, 4 walks, 4 K’s. One homer.
I still hear he’s pretty good. Should break camp with the club.
