Atlanta Braves Fan Confidence Poll

Every other Friday this off-season Talking Chop presents the Atlanta Braves fan confidence poll. This poll and therefore your confidence level should encompasses several areas of the team. These areas include, but are not limited to, the team’s ownership, current management, talent, minor-league system, general playing ability on the field, and of course during the off-season, how our off-season is going. The poll will stay open for 48 hours, and then the results will be posted and graphed against the previous weeks.

I would think confidence will be higher on the merit that the Johnny Damon didn’t sign with the Braves. What a relief that was.

My confidence went down because we even offered to him

i’m still holding my breath until he signs on the dotted line with Detroit or Chicago. When he finally does, i’m gonna take partial credit for Frank Wren not signing him.

7, as always. It could swing a bit depending on the kids’ performance in ST, but otherwise I’m fairly confident in this team.

9!!!!!

I’m feeling pumped up about this actually starting. I’m sure I’ll come back down by next poll.

8 once again.

Seriously, who is voting a 1?

That was me...

no Damon, no Smoltz, not even a trade for Pujols. We’re gonna be horrible when everyone gets hurt and Melky is hitting cleanup.

by Mr. Sanchez on Feb 19, 2010 11:06 AM EST up reply actions

What is Smoltz up to? Is he signed or retired? I’d love to have Smoltz back in the bullpen and retire a Brave.

Johnny Damon.

I went from a 6 to 7 but I think that is just because I got a new job and I feeling good about myself. I am, however, always hopeful and optimistic. GO Braves!!

Not a problem

You can actually vote after you die in some mid western cities…ie. Chicago

Haha for humor’s sake, we should have our own confidence poll for the Mets’ organization.

The Mets make an offer to Rod Barajas:

The 34-year-old Barajas hit .226/.258/.403 for the Blue Jays last year, which would actually be a downgrade (in terms of OPS) from the league-worst .254/.305/.380 output the Mets got from their catchers last season.
