Ok I just read the non tendered list and I know he played for two teams in our division for a while and he has had his issues but Lastings Milledge is available. He is faster than nate and has average to slightly above fielding. Also has hit 268 or higher since 2007 so we know what we would be getting. Plus he hits lefties at a 320 avg so he could platoon with nate who is BAD at facing lefties. By always having Nate or Lastings on the bench we always have 1 pinch runner per game since thats our biggest hole is on the base paths. At the end of the game we could get 1 meaningful steal to close out a win or catch up if we are behind. We wouldn't give up any prospects to get it. His salary is likely to be around the 450k so still leaves $2.5-4.5 mill for a reliever. I just like the idea of having an MLB ready player in case nate can't bounce back. Plus he has played a LOT at all OF positions so if Chipper needs some time off he can start in LF. Thoughts or other interesting non tenders that could be cheap but make an impact?
