Braves Relievers: Swing and Miss Percentages Pt.2
This post is an addition to the swing and miss post for the starters. The idea is the same as is the layout. I selected the relievers that were either significant to last year's team, should have an impact next year, or both.
*I tried just adding this to the first post but it kept cutting me off. Does anyone know of a fanpost length limit?*

Notes:
-The relievers down the board had higher average wiff rates than the starters, as expected.
-Venters and Kimbrel are straight filthy and the old men still brought it last last year.
-Linebrink can still throw pretty hard, Martinez has a suprisingly good changup, and 94.9 mph sinkers from lefties just aren't fair.

Venters might just have the best sinker in baseball.
Good stuff again. I don’t know why it didn’t let you add on, but it’s not a big deal and two posts are fine.
Any chance you could re-post the list of pitches? It’s just easier to look at that way.
"That guy mvhsbball is really an insufferable schmuck." - FuquaManuel
Dave only made 74 appearances this year?
"If I have asthma, they won't let me scuba. And if I can’t scuba, then what’s this all been about?? What am I working toward??"
"You look like you should be married to one of the San Diego Padres."
It was a new pitch, so maybe it’s usage (and effectiveness) will increase next season. I thought Moylan with a change would be virtually unhittable, but maybe his confidence in it still needs alittle work.
Lady: What?!? How did HE get to Heaven?
GOD: Oh, he was in a different area code, so technically it wasn't cheating..

Anyone know what time the Braves Home Opener will start against the Phillies.
Braves fan from NC and I am coming down. It is posted as TBD on www.braves.com.
I suspect it will be a night game.
I’m hoping for a day game as my Carolina Hurricanes are in ATL the same night and it would be awesome to catch a Braves game and hockey game in the same day/night.
Shoot the puck!!!!!!
That’s gonna be interesting. Home openers are often day games, but this game and one other (Yankees at Boston) on that date are gonna be hard for the networks to resist.
Sandy Alderson: "There's 'no market' for Luis Castillo or Oliver Perez, even if we wanted to trade them." (All you need to know about the Mets).
What do those abbreviations mean?
What do SI, FF, etc. mean in your chart? I am not up on the latest sabermetrics.

Look at Kimbrel's in play percentage.
That is downright nasty. Hitters can’t get anything in play from him more than 10% of the time.
Last year was not a great year for Pet M
It was good but after mentioning his confidence it seems he was not the same as the previous year….Arm trouble…His sinker used to be his money pitch for Wiffs.
it just felt right and the chance to go to the postseason is hard to pass up. I’ve always respected their orginization… and Bobby…I’m excited. I’m looking forward to it...Derrek Lee (at press conference sayiing he had been traded to the Braves)
