PrintOne hour to go and the Braves begin postseason baseball for the first time in five years. I've got my venti latte so I can stay up late, and I'll be hitting the Crown and Coke around game time. I am really getting pumped!
Open thread here for fruitful game chatter. Make sure you know the rules before you comment. It's too joyous an occasion to have to ban anyone. More open threads will go up throughout the night, and I'll also be doing an inning by inning live recap of the game.

I was staying at a girls house the night he died, we were on her couch together and I saw it scroll across the bottomline on ESPN and I was devastated. I’ll never for that night, and I’ll never forget hearing him and Pete and Joe and Don on TBS.

Our lineup has owned him in a SSS.
He is all over the place with no control right now – and they are just hacking away.
Then again, we did send Alex Gonzalez, Matt Diaz and Brooks Conrad to the plate that inning.
I bet I could have gotten at least 2 of them to strike out.

I can understand when it starts at the knees and drops. But a lot of them are low or outside to begin with.

According to Gameday:
Only one pitch to Gonzo (1st pitch) was anywhere near the plate
Two pitches to Diaz (1st and 2nd pitches) were anywhere near the plate
Two pitches to Conrad (1st and 4th pitches) were anywhere near the plate
No pitches were anywhere near what could be considered a conservative strike zone.
