Hello everybody. Who's excited for the playoffs? I am, and I can't go into the playoffs without wrapping up NAHWAL. On a side note, there will NOT be a NAHWAL for the playoffs. I emailed gondeee, and he said, basically, that it's just better not to. So I guess the next time you'll see this is next season. That being said, a few highlights from my point of view:
1. Whenever Huddy would start, and he'd be everyone's, no really, everyone's, Pick to Click. That was awesome.
2. The immense pressure put on brndn at the beginning of the year by Jim Abott's Right Hand Man, who then promptly disappeared
3. My lackadaisical scoring.
4. My nonexistent scoring.
5. My promising to score, and then not scoring.
6. The fact that at minimum, 115 total people played NAHWAL at some point this year
Standings can be found after the jump
So, for a quick refresher, I decided to do a final series for the last two weeks because of my lack of scoring. For that series, you winner was:
1. brndn with 15 points
2. Mr. Sanchez with 10 points
2. NCChopper with 10 points
4. carpengui with 6 points
4. Bravely going forward with 6 points
I know it doesn't seem like it, but brndn came very close to losing that series
And as for the year overall:
1. brndn with 118 points
2. Bravely going forward with 83 points
3. Mr. Sanchez with 72 points
4. NCChopper with 68 points
4. bpk228840 with 68 points
6. mvhsbball with 64 points- I lied. This is my favorite part of NAHWAL, how mvhsbball missed the top five by mere points.
As always, just ask for you (semi)season total. It's been fun being chief. Can't wait to do it again soon
