Not a lot of reps against Kendrick for most of these guys. I guess we better get used to Melky hitting fifth. Loooonng sigh.
Too bad Marteeen is not in the lineup:
| Others of note vs. Kyle Kendrick | PA | AB | H | 2B | 3B | HR | RBI | BB | SO | BA | OBP | SLG | OPS |

No obvious comments about small sample sizes, these are clearly popcorn stats.

I was going to say the same thing for Melky
I’d rather have Ankiel’s defense/wheels/arm in there…not to mention he’s hitting .400 vs. Kendrick.

I don't know
McClouth owns this chump (over 13 ABs), maybe this will get him going.
If Albert played in the AFL, they’d have to rename it the AZ/NM Fall League, based on where his homers landed.
2/3 of our outfield is awful
And this isn’t new. Myself, I don’t much care which two clowns they run out there. Our offense has to come from different parts of the lineup.
I’d never throw a cabbage at you. I’d throw corn at you.

While I disagree with you and have plenty of corn here in Indiana, rest asured I will be throwing no virtual produce.

Alabama cotton doesn't throw very well
Nor does it create much of a deterrent – even on a direct hit.

So seeing as TC has basically been dead this morning/afternoon
there better be a crapload of you on your way to Turner Field!

Are you gonna post another video link for tonight's game?
If Albert played in the AFL, they’d have to rename it the AZ/NM Fall League, based on where his homers landed.
Hopefully, I'm not alone in this, but I'd want:
McLouth CF
Infante 2B
Heyward RF
Lee 1B
McCann C
Diaz LF
Conrad 3B
Gonzalez SS
Everyone gets two free stupid comments. After that, I start charging.
yes thats exactly what i want! And why was everyone bashing me for calling Melky the fat useless slug he is?
McClouth >= Ankiel. Ankiel swings at pitches no one could hit. He loves the high inside, but has never hit one in there, so I dont know why. Ankiel may have good defense, so there should be a DO rule: Designated Outfieder, who doesn’t get to hit. He is our Andruw Jones. Now lets take these chumps, GO BRAVES!
I'd keep Heyward in the 2 hole
Maybe shift Infante down to 6 or so. Also, no way should McCann be hitting lower than fourth.
The Braves are 2-0 in games started by Kendrick this season...
…despite Kendrick only allowing one run in 15 innings to the Braves this year. Both times, the Braves rallied against the Phillies ’pen to win it in extra innings.
i recognize that monicker!
is this dustin? i’ll venture that it’s so — this is brandon, kaung’s (and rodger, han, jay m, etc.) friend.
Do all Melky, Ankiel, McLouth, Diaz and Hinske make the playoff roster along with Heyward? Heyward is an obvious lock, Hinske can play 1B/3B so he makes it, Diaz is our only righty out there, Ankiel is the best defender, Bobby seems to love Melky and he has playoff experience and McLouth is the
best baserunner and has hit as good as any of them lately. I’d like to take both Glaus and Freeman but how can you with six outfielders?

Well...
It’s easy. You justify it by calling Hinske a utility player instead of an outfielder. The team is running a bit thin on options to play 3B, despite the fact that Hinske never gets any play time there. He is allegedly capable at that position, though.

he'll probably be the only "regular" to play a lot in all three games
just to get him some more ABs
shouldn’t be a surprise
Boras payed them 1M to play Werth in CF.

Definitely not the “B” squad.
If Albert played in the AFL, they’d have to rename it the AZ/NM Fall League, based on where his homers landed.
Guess the real question is if they all play the whole game
Go USA, Braves, BU Terriers, Irish, Caps, Colts, Hoyas, NU Cats, Wizards, DC United, Washington Freedom
BU Hockey: National Champions 1971, 1972, 1978, 1995, 2009
Kendrick is a righty...
Diaz is the LF platooneer for LHP.
C
It’s rough to sit through these games and not have someone that can’t hit a Ball?
ok that came off too strong
or did it?
what does he think melky is a luck charm?
hey everyone!
Looks like “A” lineup for the Phils, Sadly I think this may also be our “A” lineup right now:( Watch, we’ll kill ’em tonite
YOU CAN'T HONESTLY THINK YOU CAN GET REAL INFORMATION FROM SUCH A SMALL SAMPLE
YOU CAN’T PROVE EVER HOW GOOD BATTERS ARE AGAINST PITCHERS… THIS IS SILLY!!!
AH CAPITAL LETTERS!
Go USA, Braves, BU Terriers, Irish, Caps, Colts, Hoyas, NU Cats, Wizards, DC United, Washington Freedom
BU Hockey: National Champions 1971, 1972, 1978, 1995, 2009
some larger sizes might be more revealing…

New to this forum
I have been reading TC for about twenty weeks now. I like reading it after the fact. I will most likely be commenting during the games this weekend, but it sounds like a lot of regulars will actually be at the game.
welcome! :)
