he seems so composed. love his answer to the question about the Braves letting him come up and play with the big boys.

Camera angle of the interview is just about as bad as it is for a game….
You can't sit on a lead and run a few plays into the line and just kill the clock. You've got to throw the ball over the goddamn plate and give the other man his chance. That's why baseball is the greatest game of them all. ~Earl Weaver
Alright, now that I've watched it
two questions:
1) when is this Rookie Development Program?
2) Assuming that it is quite recent if not going on, there was a shot of him wearing 77. Anyone think this will be his big league number? He did wear 34 at the Futures Game, but that’s EOF.

No, thats footage from 09 spring training. He was a non roster invite, which garners a number like 77.

Including the Futures Game...
…Heyward wore a total of four uniform numbers last season—-77 in Spring Training, 24 in Myrtle Beach and Mississippi, 12 in Gwinnett and AFL (Schafer had 24), and 34 at the Futures Game. If I had to guess, I would guess he is going to wear 12, but it is just a guess at this point.
