Nady signs with Cubs

Depending on the numbers, I may be placed on suicide watch for the next few days. Last year I kept hoping we would sign Dunn, this year it was Nady for me.

Ouch. I would have blown a gasket if the Braves had given him that contract. No wonder we ended up moving on from him after some writers thought he was all but signed early in the offseason. I told my wife she doesn’t have to hide the razor blades after all. The Cubbies can have him at the price.

Shouldn't Reid Gorecki get a shot in RF before that Heyward kid everybody talks about?

Agreed...

especially when you compare his salary to Glaus, or even Hinske. And both have proven healthier over time, and just as productive if not more so when they are.
