Looks like we can calm down about Johnny Damon, as it appears he'd have to drop to around $1-2 million. Also, McCann describes Kelly's new plate approach as "Wow". But remember, Chipper declared Francouer would hit cleanup during winter BP last year.

Chipper said similar things about Jeff Francoeur last offseason (that he had a totally new approach and stance and that “he was our cleanup hitter”) and things were also said about Andruw Jones and his “improved swing”. Bullshit. It’s a lot easier to hit in a batting cage than it is against major league pitching in high pressure situations. I’ll believe it when I see it.

I think KJ will have a good season
but that doesn’t mean that he’s gonna come back to bite us, cuz we have a 2nd baseman in Prado who’s going to have a good season regardless.
