Greg Norton

I have one question i hope some one can answer. Why in the h*ll does Bobby Cox continue to send Norton up to the plate???? I saw David Ross hit a home run in sunday’s game that probably went farther than all of Norton’s at bats put together that he’s had in the last 3 months!!!!!!!!!!

Up until 9/1...

You can’t PH Ross because you blow your backup catcher.

Would you really want to see Matt Diaz behind the plate in extra innings?

or, you know, the original C just keeps on catching...

and then McCann could get the following day off.

Yeah, because one David Ross AB...

Is DEFINITELY worth a full game’s worth of McCann off. Wait, nope.

Maybe to give The G-Braves their closer for their playoff run?

thats fine

but why take him in the first place.

Because they didn't know they were going to make it.

He was also just named an IL All-Star, so it could be some kind of nod to that.
