Should we be one game back?!!

I just caught this on the news. When the Colorado Rockies won on a double play on Sunday night a photograph has came out that shows the ball hit the ground and the inning was not over. The Cardinals would have at least tied the game. The Braves could possibly be down by one. As crazy as that is, is the replay system for MLB for homeruns only?

Umps make bad calls all the time. It is part of the game.

It is best to not think about what could have been, should have been, was going to be. The umps aren’t the ones who gave up a walk-off 3 run homer to Ethier. The umps aren’t the ones who scored something like 4 runs in a 6 game stretch, and the umps aren’t the ones who got swept by the Big Red Machine.

But the one ump does fist bump the Marlins’ catch. Just innocent fist bumpage…..nothing to see here, people.

That was bush-league, but nothing to blame us potentially missing the playoffs on.

At a time like this

it is good for my overall stress level not to think what could or should be when it comes to the Braves this season. Let’s just work with what we have.

Even though I’m super pissed we should be one game back!!!!

You say to-mah-to, I say you're retarded.

Let it go

These things happen.

If Albert played in the AFL, they’d have to rename it the AZ/NM Fall League, based on where his homers landed.

Remember when?

Remember the third game of the season we were up 10-3 to the phillies and we gave up 8 runs in the bottom of the seventh and went on to lose?

Remember the last series of the first half against the Rockies? Game one we are up 5-4 in the 7th and then give up a run in the seventh and two in the eight. Remember the last game of that series when we were up 7-3 and gave up 3 runs in the 7th, 1 in the 8th, and a walk off hit in the ninth.

Remember when we went to LA and we were up 4-2 and soriano gave up a 3 run bomb in the 9th to lose the game?

Remember the pitchers duel in FLA when we were GA hit a homer in the top of the ninth to take the lead and then soriano came in in the bottom half to give up a walk off shot?

Remember the dominate start by tommy when he went 8 innings gave up 5 hits and struck out 8 on 95 pitches and was taken out? Then soriano comes in and gives up two runs in the ninth to lose the game?

What could have been? Oh well, thats what happens in baseball. The only ones that really stick with me are the Phillies game and the Rockies game in which we were up big and ended up blowing it late. I’m sure i could go back and look and see games that we have won that we probably shouldn’t have. It’s the way of the game. But it is interesting to look back and think of what could have been. We still have a chance in this thing. It’s gonna be an exciting end. I’ll be cautiously optimistic.

Remember that time we gave nearly 500 ABs to two guys in the OF who were completely worthless on offense(albeit for two different reasons)?

omg

It used to be ONE post per loss, about a single play from another team, another game, another planet that is costing the Braves the season.

No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
