FREE Turner Field BBQ Festival, Sept. 12.
"FREE" is relative - $10 to park, still. But anyway, despite the fact that the Braves will be in St. Louis this weekend, Atlanta locals can still mosey on down to Turner Field for the first ever Atlanta BBQ Festival.
$10 to park, but admission is free for sampling of a BBQ cook off from various local Atlanta smokemasters, as well as live music, games for kids, half-price Turner Field tours, if you want to walk in the dugout and on the field, and other cool fun stuff. If I were in town this weekend, I'd be all about it, but alas. Kick back a brew and chow down on some smokey pork for ol' rh.
