Rockies or Phillies

I meant to ask this during the Phils/Giants series but this one works just as well. I'm interested to know which of these teams you are rooting for? Are you still hoping to win the East, thereby hoping for a couple of Rockies wins? Or do you think the WC would be the easier route and wish the Phils would sweep?

As of now, I'm really not sure how I hope the series turns out, but I'm leaning towards hoping to catch the Phils and let the WC take care of itself.

Hoping for a split. The Braves are about equal back, and while the Phillies are better than any wild card team, the amount of teams left in the wild card make me think there’s an equal chance of winning the division and the wild card. In reality, we need to take care of our own business by winning series. If we do that, everything else will work itself out

I don’t think the Braves are capable of playing well enough to catch the Phillies for the division (barring the Phils having a Mets-like September collapse), so I was rooting for them to beat the Rockies.

Wildcard is actually the harder path at this point

In number of games behind, we’re closer to Wildcard, but there are 4 or 5 teams in front of us. In our own division, we only have to climb over Phils and Fishes.

It’s far more likely that the top 2 teams in our division collapse, than 6 spread out across the NL.

We HAVE to get hot for any of it to matter, though…..

With Omar and Huddy coming back, I think the pieces will be there to win the division.

Phillies – I don’t necessarily view them as a problem. We can take them. We have to take them.
Marlins – More worried about them than the Phils
Mets – lol
Nats – we have to exact revenge, and leave these fools out to dry
