Before I forget about this, I ran into this guy last night leaving the game. I asked him where he got his shirt, and surprise, he made it himself. F'N awesome, is all I have to say.

Was anyone watching the game last week (think it was the FLA series) when the guy had a dry erase board, and just kept writing Matty Diaz comments? Some of them were pretty good, cant really remember any of them, but I thought it was a brilliant idea. Anyone see that?

Yeah...
Actually it was this week, the first game against the Padres. Some of the comments I remember:
“Matt Diaz, I have a man-crush on you”
“Matt Diaz – #23 in your program, #1 in our hearts”
“Matty Dee” – I’m naming my daughter after you"
In the bottom of the ninth (I think) when Diaz was batting — “Do you believe in miracles?”
There were others I don’t remember.

Diaz is pretty much my favorite player in the bigs.
This guys name is actually Josh Pierce
He is a buddy of mine and has probably attended north of 30 games this year. Its actually the second shirt like this he has made but the first came apart when he washed it so he made another one. I showed him the first post that royhobbs posted about seeing him in the shirt stumbling around after the game and once I showed it to him, he loved it. Its even better now that you got a picture of him. Oh, and by the way, the VW coozie was one that we got for free at a yard sale the prior weekend and he probably just found it in his pocket during the game. And by the way, Coors Light AND Matt Diaz both F’N Rule!

His shirt is legendary, and if he acts quickly, he could probably make a few bucks on more of those shirts, because it’s probably the most accurate statement in the history of mankind.
