Little League All-Stars honored by Atlanta Braves
The Warner Robbins all-star team that seems to be representing the United States every year in the Little League World Series is always a good story to come out of the state every year. The Braves make a point to congratulate the squad of youngsters on their accomplishments, and well wishes to the LLWS tournament.
This is the kind of stuff that's good to hear, and makes it easy to believe why so many Georgia kids actually want to grow up to play baseball, and be Atlanta Braves, first and foremost.

I like this
I used to help coach a little league team and to hear the Braves took the time to pay attention to these kids really makes me like them even more. You can’t know how much encouragement the kids get from an act like this. Go! Warner Robbins!!!

Good read, thanks. Very sweet thing for the Bravos to do. LLWS always makes you appreciate baseball just for baseball. But hey, at least one Georgia team can win right now :)

“Oh boy.. jackpot”
But I agree that watching LLWS has an appeal that can’t ever be captured in high school, college, or professional baseball. These children bring an innocent love and passion of the game that I think has a tendency to get clouded once they get older, and especially if they think they have a shot to make it into a profession.
And it’s always fascinating to see the battles of the psyches of these children, like if a kid makes an error, you can see how badly it effects him, and the rest of his play. To be that young again, I don’t think I would want to, but it is interesting to see how they function.
The fact that it’s also a world-wide international tournament makes it even more appealing. Sadly, the WBC could learn a thing or two from the LLWS; if it were a modicum more like the LLWS, then the WBC could be amazing.
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
Too bad most of their parents don’t have an innocent love and passion for the game.

The Warner Robbins LLWS team
could probably beat the shit out of the Atlanta Braves right now.
Frank Wren for GM of the Year.
Now Now be nice
Mr. Hobbs has it right, the kids are so trying so hard,(is it OK to put it that way?) I remember the biggest hurdle I had was to try to get my 9 year olds not to be afraid of the ball.My son was particularly not trying to hit because he was afraid of being hit. But those kids did such a good job, we ended over.500 and just taking them to get pizza is just a fond memory. You know that gave me an appreciation of the game I haven’t lost, baseball for just baseball. I really miss that,I miss my son too.(now 23)

Did you get invited
to the All-Faith My-Pujols-can-beat-up-your-Pujols Religious slow-pitch softball World Series? Then no greeting from the Braves for you.
