Obviously Chipper wasn't involved but I found it interesting nonetheless.

he wasnt renting the place to Ugueth Urbina was he?

All joking aside, you missed another great link from that site — the one where Vasquez says he wants to sign long term with the Braves.

If the glove does not fit…

The base paths belonged to me, the runner. The rules gave me the right. I always went into a bag full speed, feet first. I had sharp spikes on my shoes. If the baseman stood where he had no business to be and got hurt, that was his fault. -Ty Cobb

When I first saw this headline, I was thinking “Please don’t let it be a Hooters girl.”

Actually it makes you think about how screwed up Mexico is when someone goes out in 100+ temps to get to the US. They find dozens of dead people every year out in the desert southwest, it’s a tragedy.

there was a family of 6 or 7 found about 20 miles from my house. 3 were dead and i think the others are still in the hospitals (which i really dont get since they’re using our tax money in our hospitals even tho they’re illegals). But still…sad stuff.

Excellent point.

Incidents such as this happen with regularity in the four border states. The only reason we’re hearing about this one is its tangential connection to someone famous; imagine all the ones that don’t make the evening news.

I thought it would say it was Martin Prado

as an extension of that thread about KJ killing him or whatever.
