Braves placed OF Nate McLouth on the 15 - day DL due to sore left hamstring; recalled OF Reid Gorecki
Oh boy. The Braves placed Nate on the DL which doesn't come to as a surprise to me. He missed a few games then tried to play through the Phillies series and was taken out of the game becuase of the injury. I am not to worried because Nate, as we all saw, was struggling st the plate. I am a little worried about his replacement in the lineup; Ryan Chruch. He's in a RISP slump. He struck out on Saturday with runners on and poped up with the bases loaded last night. He needs to hit in those situations as some of our regualars are out (Prado) or struggling (Escobar, CJ, GA and Adam).

Ryan Church since coming to the Braves – .254 .376 .408 .785
Nate McLouth during the same period – .233 .350 .350 .699
Why are you worried?
"Actually, Justin was right."

There is already a fan shot for this.
Also Church has been great in the Lead Off Spot for us with his more patient plate approach.

Some people don't read FanShots...
It’s too far to scroll down the page.
My first argument against socialized healthcare? Yunel Escobar's grill.

This isn't a really bad thing
I’d rather McLouth go on the DL and actually get healthy, and then return for the stretch run, as opposed to playing through nagging pain, and doing what Escobar did for the early part of the season.
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
