I know, just pointing out an interesting link.

If Dunn walks 30 fewer times, he'll drive in 15 more runs. This is thanks to the scientifically proven formula: RBI = (this is nonsense) (I made it all up).

Here's a stat: Wins as manager: Dusty Baker, 1,162; Bill James, 0.

Hilarious. Be sure to click on the link to the actual article about the helmet, and check out Frenchy’s opinions.

No

Pete Rose was actually banned from baseball for teaching Jeff Francoeur how to play. He made up the gambling stuff to hide his shame.

Q: If on-base pct is so important then why don't they put it on the scoreboard? -Failcoeur

A: Because the Braves don't want to show their fans how bad you suck.

No

Even if he becomes an every year all star in NY…………….NO.

He wasn’t going to do it here and him moving helped us and may or may not help him. Sometimes you just need to move on and understand that for whatever reason he couldn’t keep it going in the ATL.

Just look at our record since the trade. Then look at his # of walks and OBP since the trade and you’ll see that this is an illusion just like the first month of the season. I don’t want to look it up but I’d assume his BABIP with the Mets is incredibly high right now

by McCann's the Man on Aug 14, 2009 6:14 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

His BABIP is .290

which isn’t particularly germane to the point of the post. It wasn’t meant to assess who “won” that trade any way.

His stats when he left were so poor, that it makes his not as poor numbers with NY look like he’s on a tear.

Jesus Christ people, I was joking when I posted this, I thought it was pretty obvious.

That's all well and good...

But don’t pretend there aren’t those who actually believe the sentiment of the title.

Remember, kids...don't ever let facts get in the way of your argument.

Has he grown a beard up there yet? In Frenchy’s mind, that’s “making an adjustment.”
