Thank God, can we option him to waivers?
If Dunn walks 30 fewer times, he'll drive in 15 more runs. This is thanks to the scientifically proven formula: RBI = (this is nonsense) (I made it all up).
Here's a stat: Wins as manager: Dusty Baker, 1,162; Bill James, 0.
lol
If you can’t have Kotchman’s glove there, you might as well just go without one.
Pete Rose was actually banned from baseball for teaching Jeff Francoeur how to play. He made up the gambling stuff to hide his shame.

Prado at 1b
Prado’s defense at 1b hasn’t been stellar, but he hasn’t played half bad. Lannan is a left so with us already having a glutten of left handed batters in our lineup I think having Prado start over LaRouche isn’t a bad idea. Glad to see Omar back, he will defn help out our bench and our lineup in general when people (Chipper) need days off.
Sucks to see
that Chipper’s obliques are still apparently bothering him. At this point might as well wait until the Phils series, or PH him if one side is better than the other.
How much longer on Chipper?
Won three in a row without him, so maybe that good luck charm will continue.
My guess is BC will sit him today and tomorrow, and then with an off day Thursday, he’ll be ready for Philly on Friday. I thought I read that his contract included that he will do more flexibility exercises to help avoid those issues with oblique strains and other injuries that could be helped with proper stretching. Is that true?

I wish
For a second i thought that perhaps Norton would be DFAed and Heyward would magically appear in Atlanta
A baseball game is simply a nervous breakdown divided into nine innings.

Hallelujah
I"ve been waiting for this for some time now…I have not been impressed w/ Diory, and Infante is one of my favs. IDC where he plays as long as he’s in the dugout somewhere, if not on the field
YEAH
No more Diory! He was just over matched and not ready at all. He needs a lot more time down at Triple-A.
Here's the new, updated lineup:

I hope
McLouth is feeling good once the Philly series begins.
This looks
to be a great game tonight. Nats trying to keep the winning streak going & the Braves tired of being their doormat this season. Bobby was probably begging Chipper to play to get as much offensive firepower in the line-up as possible.
