Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz were among the 104 major league players listed as having tested positive for performance-enhancing substances in 2003, lawyers with knowledge of the results told The New York Times.

Well..

the way i look at it is this:

MLB can do absolutely nothing about it.
Manny is already known as one of the dirtiest players in the game.
Papi seems like a great guy, but you (well, i have anyways) had to expect he used some type of HGH.
Both players will call a press conference, say they’re really sorry, and we’ll be over it…just like ARod.

It's interesting

the guys who sheepishly raise their hands and say “Touche’, world. You got me” are so easily forgiven and forgotten about. Those who deny, deny, deny are the ones who get villianized (Bonds, Clemens, etc).

What about

the ones who do their best Dale Murphy impersonation condemning the throngs of other steroid users while insisting they are and always have been clean.

I’m looking at you Mr. Ortiz.

No, he’s just making an example of the hypocracy that these guys are demonstrating.

Heaven is a baseball field.
