If every Braves player was a card

This was mentioned by Joe and Boog during today's (7/2) SWEEP of the Phillies (Nice Job Boys!). June 16th (the first game after the all star break) the Braves are giving out a free deck of cards that feature each of the Braves players. some of us joked around with it, because we decided that Yunel would be the Queen of Hearts because of his looks and attitude, and then eventually I came up with a list:

Gonzo- King of Hearts
Soriano- Queen of Spades
JJ- Queen of Clubs
EOF- Jack of Hearts
Lowe- King of Clubs
Hanson- King of Spades
Medlen- 10 of Spades
Moylan- Jack of Spades
Javy- King of Diamonds
Kotch- Jack of Clubs
KJ- 2 of Hearts
Esco- Queen of Hearts
Chipper- Ace of Spades
GA- 10 of Clubs
Diaz- Jack of Diamonds
Blanco- 10 of Diamonds
FYF- 2 of Diamonds
McLouth- Ace of Diamonds
Prado- Ace of Hearts
Infante- Queen of Diamonds
Heap- Ace of Clubs
Ross- 9 of Spades

If anybody goes to the game July 16th (its a Met game- somebody is going to be there, right?) pick up a deck and we'll see how close I came.

it all started because we called Yunel the Queen of Hearts and so I go ahead and make 2 of them. um… I actually meant for him to be the queen of spades. thanks for the heads up

Random or method?

Was there a method to your madness here? Just curious why you picked some of these. Chipper’s is obvious, Esco’s is obvious, and KJ and FYF are obvious.

um… a lot of it was due to a method… eg. Chipper is by far the most valuable, so the Ace of Spades, and I tried to put people who I thought were more important with higher ranks, and i tried to group some similar people with similar suits, eg. Hanson and Medlen were both spades but since Hanson is more valuable he is the king opposed to Medlen who is a 10. So there is some method, but a lot is just what I was feeling.
