Dumb.
Who precisely will be in charge of determining which players get the asterisks? Are baseball fans really too stupid to make their own decisions about the relative value of players? Do the pre-integration players have asterisks? The deadball and raised-mound pitchers? The sluggers in the tiny ballparks of the 70s and 80s?
Remember, kids...don't ever let facts get in the way of your argument.
