And we still have Rudy Darrow, who is doing pretty well at the Beach. At some point I'm going to go back and count how many ex-Braves have been DFAed this year.

Gregor Blanco already fills the no-hit good-field center fielder role for Atlanta.

Also Schafer….

Schafer was rushed to the majors same as Frenchy was !! Frenchy just happened to delay his struggles until almost 2.5 years later.

Rushed? He won the job in spring training.

That month (and the first week of the season, for that matter) hardly portended what would happen.

For What ????

Why would you want Josh Anderson back ???? The guy simply cannot hit enough even in a platoon role/bench player role w/ the Tigers let alone us an we need every piece of offense we can get. He would simply block or take someone’s spot in AAA (which he couldn’t even go to unless he passed through waviers) or at the Major League level.

All in all be glad we got something for him an Blaine Boyer !! Both of whom are simply not MLB talent.

Pretty Funny though !!!

Pretty funny that we traded both him an Boyer an got something out of them an then within a few mths both were designated for assignment. Of course Boyer landed with the D-backs but I doubt Josh Anderson gets picked up by anyone.

Why not?

He’s proven he can OPS .750 in the NL while providing good to great defense in the OF. He’s probably not a starter, but there are worse 4th OFs on MLB rosters.
