Fellow Braves Fans...
I am from Buffalo, New York so the closest baseball I get to see is the Mets' Triple A team the Buffalo Bisons which I always wear Braves gear to. I've been a Braves fan the longest of all the sports I like and can proudly say I've been a fan since '98. I have traveled down to Turner Field on two occasions to see the Braves play the Mets and the Nationals. At the Nationals game I sat above the home dugout and got Eddie Perez and Kelly Johnson to autograph my hat. Other than that I have an autographed baseball by none other than the great: Greg Maddux.
So long story short, being from so far away from Atlanta made me wonder where the rest of the Braves fans here one Talking Chop are from. So where do you all hail from, fellow Braves fans?

I have so many Mets fan friends that I have an unhealthy obsession with the Mets failure
I listen to WFAN because it makes me feel so good to hear the mets fans writing their season off to Steve Somers and the other WFAN personalities.
SubParr
lol good
I hate the Mets but I hate the Phillies more recently because they are achieving more so I want them to fail. But the Mets top it off as my most hated MLB team.

definately.
and its not too expensive either. DBacks are horrible this year and dropped tickets about 25%. I got 2 seats 20 rows behind the 1st base dugout for about $75 bucks. And got 2 seats about 10 rows back the foul line in LF for $50 or so.
StubHub has some real good deals if you look at the right time. Since we’re in the recession and teams want a filled up stadium, they’ll put their own tickets on stub hub for a lot cheaper than you could get from the ticket office or an individual seller.
p.s. if anyone is ever in Phoenix for a DBacks game, go to Alice Cooperstown. It’s within walking distance to the park too. Order the “Big Unit”. It’s THE GREATEST hotdog i’ve ever had in my entire life, and its a foot and a half long.

And I’m looking forward to the NFL season. It’s gonna be tough with Brady back and T.O. going to Buffalo.

yeah but
it being a recovery year for Brady might help and T.Blow will crash and burn there like he has everywhere else. He’ll play good but he won’t last long there. At least that is what I’m hoping. I think we will do good.

From PTC, GA
So, like right next to Fayetteville. I’m living in Atlanta right now, so I go to games when I get the chance.
It’s interesting to see where everyone is from…I mean, I knew the Braves’ fan base was big from the 80s and 90s, but it’s cool to see people from other areas with other MLB teams cheering for the Bravos.
I live in Atlanta, and I go to upwards of 40+ Braves home games plus a few on the road games a year.
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.

I live in PA and go to college in MD, so I see the Braves in Philly in the years not after they win World Series, occasionally see them in NY when the Mets aren’t opening a new stadium, and in DC/Baltimore. Mainly I watch MLB.TV, which would be so much better if you could output it to your TV.

NC here. Braves fan since 1984.
No major league team close to me so to see a game I have to travel. I’ve made the trip to the Ted about 10 times or so since living in NC, and never got to see a game in FCS.
I’ve lived all over and most of my Braves games have been seen while living in Houston. I never missed seeing the games when they came to play the Astros and I always showed up in full Braves attire and screamed and cheered for them (who usually won to the shaggrin of the locals who gave me dirty looks). The new stadium is nice, but my favorite games were while they were still in the Astrodome. The crack of the bat sounded awesome in there.
I won’t likely make it back to the Ted this year, but enjoying the games with the other fans who do here on TC helps a lot. Oh, and the PTV feed and FSS in HD on my cable system this year is beyond cool.

Since the mid to late eighties, which was when I became old enough to understand what those moving things on the TV are. I was a product of the TBS Braves Baseball generation.
But I like your name, dolphinsinbuffalo. Me and a couple of my buddies fly up to Buffallo every year (except last years BS canada game) to see the Dolphins -Bills game. Every year I wear my dolphins jersey, and it is an absolute shock I have not been shanked at the stadium yet, even though I nearly get into an altercation every year. I guess my point is you must be one of the other 2 people in the whole stadium supporting the Phins.

I grew up in Indiana being a Braves fan…since ‘91! I gravitated toward David Justice cause he had a flair about him that I really liked. That’s why I like Yunel too, they both have passion for the game and really show it. Oh, and I loved watching Smoltz pitch. God bless TBS back then or I’d probably be a Cubs fan.
Now I live in Chamblee, GA, and I got to watch Hanson’s rookie debut. Pure awesomeness. I also was there for Medlen’s debut.
I wish I lived near Atlanta
I could make a lot more baseball games and I would be closer to Miami

I’ve been to the Ted probably a dozen times, and saw a few games at FCS when I was very young. I’m going to see a couple of games in August (SAT games against the Dodgers and Phillies) as a HS graduation present from my Dad who raised me to be a Braves fan.
I have infinite respect for a man who retained his Braves fanhood through the ’70’s.

I hail from Athens, Georgia, but I’ve also spent significant portions of my life in Greenville, South Carolina and Macon, Georgia, both of which were minor league affilitates of the Braves when I lived there, so I pretty much lucked out! I really became a fan back in ‘90 or ’91, when I went with my mom to the Greenville Braves stadium to pick up my free gifts for joining the Braves “kids club.” They were supposed to give every kid a baseball, but as luck would have it, they had run out when I got there. I was very upset, but the nice lady gave me a signed baseball by the entire team. I’ve loved the Braves ever since.

Braves Fan since 67 I was Reared near Nashville Tn whose clearchannel radio station, WSM, carried the games (except when the Grand ol Opry was on) So whenever we were traveling on a Sunday afternoon we always listened to a game. Also, during my Navy career saw the Braves play many times in California (SD, LA, SF) at least always wore my hat but to say the least never got into a fight, about did though. One night in Candlestick some guys from the ship went with me…and one was a Mets fan and he almost got us thrown out of the park…I think it was too cold and his big mouth was supplying a little hot air! LOL Saw Dale Murphy that night hit a Homerun to deep right center that took less than three minutes to get out of the park or at least disapear into the fog.

One nice thing about living here is that I get to see the MBraves about 10 times a year because they’re in the Southern League with the Birmingham Barons. Plus, Rickwood Field (the nation’s oldest professional park) is a great baseball destination for any fan. They’re supposedly about to build a museum attached to it soon.
Living currently in Jersey
I was born in NYC, but moved to Buffalo for a while, have found myself in Rochester and Orangeburg NY, Montreal, and St. Louis before coming to NJ. When living in STL, my little siblings got hooked on the Cards, but I stayed with the Braves.
