Great stuff, I played against Heyward in highschool. My coach wanted me to play in on the grass against him at third, and I said hell no that dude is huge. Of course i got yanked but I still have my head.

Stanton’s power has developed better and his power potential projects a bit better. Still, Heyward’s should develop into at least a 30 Hr/year type of hitter, and with good average/OBP to go with it, he should be among the best hitters in the league for a long time.

i thought the exact same thing the first time i heard his name last season. I was like Mike Stanton? The 40+ year old reliever of half the teams in baseball?
