Javier Vazquez has a strained lower-abdominal muscle that will keep him from making his next start this Sunday. It is not believed to be serious, and the Braves hope the extra rest of the skipped start and the All-Star break will keep them from having to put him on the DL.

Medlen is busy sitting in the bullpen. Can we at least send him down if he’s not going to pitch?

If Dunn walks 30 fewer times, he'll drive in 15 more runs. This is thanks to the scientifically proven formula: RBI = (this is nonsense) (I made it all up).

Here's a stat: Wins as manager: Dusty Baker, 1,162; Bill James, 0.

Braves Live last night said he (Medlen) will make the next scheduled start in Vazquez place.
I think it’s Sunday…but I could be wrong.

I haven’t counted days or anything but couldn’t we put Vazquez on the DL and bring up an extra arm or something?

They dont want to put him on the Dl it will scare teams away from wanting to trade for him.

And the fact that you can skip him and the all star break is here and it gives him time to heal.

its no the time to heal but rather the fact that we could bring up another pitcher to sit in the bullpen and have him not throw ever.

Heyward,Hanson, and Shaffer r ready now!! Why do you think they havent signed the "right handed bat"?
