According to sources who are friends with Cole Rohrbough on facebook this afternoon, Rohrbough's facebook status updates this afternoon following a rough outing today read:

Cole Rohrbough is ready for the next chapter in his life, probly not including baseball, FML!!!

Cole Rohrbough at 1:58pm July 1It's cuz I can't pitch good to save my life right now and I'm over it

This comes following giving up 5 runs in 5.2 IP today.

I kind of don't like posting this, because it's sort of a private thing, but it's the sort of thing that is going to get around anyways if there's any truth to it.

It’s tough to know what he’s going through, but you gotta hope he was just frustrated, and that he isn’t actually planning on quitting.

It sounds like he’s in a tough spot anyways.

Q: If on-base pct is so important then why don't they put it on the scoreboard? -Failcoeur

A: Because the Braves don't want to show their fans how bad you suck.

Call search and rescue

Cole has lost his balls (no pun intended). Come on now CR, you’re our best LHP prospect. We’ve all had a rough stretch before at work, school, etc. but none of us quit (well, maybe we did but thats not the point).

DONT GIVE UP. DONT EVER GIVE UP.

Leave the dude’s Facebook out of popular conversation. It’s not really anybody’s business; it’s only accessible to people he chooses to be friends with.

I’ve seen plenty of these guys make odd statements that didn’t really mean anything. If anything, Cole is a competitor and he’s tough on himself.
