He's done and he knows it, but feels jobbed and is venting.
WTF, I say let the man blow off some steam. He has always been a total class act and he will be again. Just not today.

Goes both ways
I agree that this residual emotion venting process needs to have its space to cycle out. But I also think it goes both ways; a lot of fans are also blowing off a lot of steam in response to his comments too. Whole lot of emotion flying around right now.
In a year or two when they do the #47 retirement night in honor of Tom Glavine, they’ll be the same ones who hopefully come out to Turner Field to stand for him when he takes the field, and hopefully Glavine will be wearing his Braves cap proudly and wave it in appreciation back to the fans. And we’ll all be proud and cheering when Tom Glavine goes into the HOF wearing the Braves cap.
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.

I know this is true...
….that’s why I wish he would just back off from it for a little while. He even says in the interview that he knows he will probably feel differently toward the organization at a later date. People almost always later regret a lot of the things they say in the passion of the moment. The big difference here between him venting and us venting is that his words are going to stick to him a lot longer, and I hate that for him.

“Had I been told, you’re going to go on a rehab and you’re going to have to make the team again, then I think that becomes very different for me,” Glavine said. “What I was told was here is your rehab schedule and if everything goes well, here’s when you’ll pitch in Atlanta. Everything went well. I was healthy and ready to go and that’s not the way that it went.”
What a whiner!

Glavine has received some offers to work as a pitching consultant with some other organizations
Hey Tom, if other teams thought you could pitch effectively, they wouldn’t offer you consulting jobs.

Place is ridiculously busy. I didn’t do a whole lot today, but you never do on your first day

I’ve lost all respect for Glavine over the last few days. He can DIAF as far as I’m concerned.
