Our old buddy T-Flow talks with Baseball Digest. He discusses leaving Atlanta, among other things. He was a tough guy to give up, but Javier Vazquez has been worth every penny (and should have about 5 more wins than he currently does if not for our inept offense).

Appreciate the link!

What a coincidence….I’m trying to talk the wife into a trip to Birmingham this Thursday to see Flowers play. I’ll post if it works out.

Going to Birmingham Thursday

It’s official – we’re going. Aside from Flowers, anybody know anything about the White Sox organization? Who else should we look out for – what players are good? They’re playing Mobile – who is good for them? Any advice in advance would be appreciated. Thanks!

These Barons are going to the SL All Star game:
C.J. Retherford
Stefan Gartrell
David Cook
John Ely
Fernando Hernandez
Jhonny Nunez
Dayan Viciedo (Futures Game)

These from Mobile:
First Base, Sean Coughlin
Third Base, Ricard Sosa
Short Stop, Pedro Ciriaco
Outfielder, Cyle Hankerd
Designated Hitter, Chris Rahl
Pitcher, Barry Enright

Viciedo is a hotshot Cuban defector.

He was just signed this offseason, and T-Flo talked about him in the interview that was just posted on here the other day.

Remember, kids...don't ever let facts get in the way of your argument.
