HELL FUCKING YES!
Get some THK in yo’ system!
Q: If on-base pct is so important then why don't they put it on the scoreboard? -Failcoeur
A: Because the Braves don't want to show their fans how bad you suck.

How long until the Natinals offer him a deal?

I’m sure Stan Kasten put a call in about an hour ago to his agent.
Also, don’t know for sure if they offered Jordan Zimmerman for Glavine after Glavine’s start last night, but I suspect that they did…

What a stupid move
Absolutely fucking retarded. Don’t get me wrong—I didn’t want him to take up a rotation spot and $1-2 mil that the team could use to land a legit OF. But if they were going to make some bullshit excuse to release him (His velocity was down? When the hell was it up?) why did they bother with him in the first place? This reflects really poorly on FW. Bad move, bad move. This is the same as the fyf debacle. If he didn’t want TG on the team (and I think we can all agree on that sentiment), he should have had the balls to say so in the off-season. FW really disappoints me with this one.

When they signed him...
We really couldn’t have counted on Medlen and Hanson were both being ready this soon. And if he hadn’t hurt his shoulder, he certainly would have been up to replace Reyes, probably a good bit sooner than Medlen came up.

You're probably right, but...
You don’t do that with Glavine, you know? If you think this is what you’re going to do if the best-scenario happens, you need to let him know what your intentions are.

This whole situation...
Stunk from the beginning. Too much money when we were the only team offering or that he wanted to play for, already had some surplus at the back end of the rotation, he immediately became the worst and highest paid of our 5th starter candidates, etc…and now the second best left handed pitcher the organization has ever seen gets just released? I know it’s the best thing for us, but it does not feel right at all.
Poor management of the situation by the front office from beginning to end…

Too much money?
How do you know he would have taken any less?
