Reds acquired from the White Sox minor league C Corky Miller in exchange for minor league OF NorrisHopper...Miller this season appeared in 14g for the White Sox and 4g for Class AAA Charlotte...he will report to ClassAAA Louisville...Hopper has spent the entire season with Louisville.
A team actually traded FOR Corky Miller
I mean, it's the Reds, but still, they traded for Corky, our former hapless backup catcher.

Corky has already been in the Reds organization
He played for the AA Lookouts here in Chattanooga for years.
He’s a fun guy to have a beer with. Too bad he can’t hit.

He left the new team without warning three weeks after the trade, and three weeks after that, he had ODed.
