Atlanta Braves Fan Confidence Poll
If it's Friday, then it's the Atlanta Braves fan confidence poll. This poll and therefore your confidence level should encompasses several areas of the team. These areas include, but are not limited to, the team’s ownership, current management, talent, minor-league system, and general playing ability on the field. The poll will stay open for 48 hours, and then the results will be posted and graphed against the previous weeks.

Still at a 7. Offense continues to be inconsistent. G Anderson and FYF are just plain horrible. Yunel seems to get lost on the basebaths and now fielding mistakes are piling up. The injuries to key subs are really hurting the Braves right now. Chipper and Mac are awesome. McLouth is a great addition.
Starting pitching is excellent, has to be one of the best in the league. Bullpen is pretty shaky, but has been much better recently, save for Soriano, who was a bit over worked.
I have little confidence in management, mainly Bobby & TP.
Still 7 for me.
I was hoping for a good week on the field and I’d be able to vote 8, but the offense is still spotty, the lineup still has black holes of suck, and Yunel continues to make me want to pull my hair out at least twice a week with boneheaded plays that a major leaguer with his experience just shouldn’t make.

When they start consistently playing better than .500 ball, then my vote will go over 5. Not until then.
Flashes of 2-3 wins in a row are few and far between.
With this offense, I don’t know how the front office could even convince a great pitcher to want to come (or stay) on this team with the lack of run support. Our starters have to begin each game with the knowledge they have to pretty much pitch perfect because if they give up more than 2 runs their chances of winning are slim.

Yeah...
Our numbers this year when scoring 3+ vs. >3 are ridiculous. They showed it on a broadcast recently.

Apparently, by signing guys in their thirties to longer contracts than other teams are willing to give them…haha

I'm still at a 6...
I wanted to go with a 7 but until we are above 500 for an entire week I’m staying at 6 or below.
Jeff is still here? wtf???
The good vibes from the McLouth trade have worn off for me. If insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, then the Braves are run by lunatics based on their continuing to run Jeff Francoeur out to play RF and bat 6th every day. I voted 4 and was sorely tempted to go even lower. 4 years ago Shuerholz got rid of the non-performing outfielders on the team and called up a bunch of youngsters. I’d like to see something similar happen to this team. Brandon Jones may not be a very good outfielder, but I would much rather see him get a chance to fail than see more of Jeff Francoeur. Wren is going to have to make another move for a bat before the trade deadline to keep this team in contention.
This team will be a .500 or less team till they replace the corner OFers with someone that can atleast produce average OF numbers for this team to even think about competing for wildcard spot much less the division.
My vote will never get above 7 till they can get a legit #4/5 hitter in the lineup. This team has to many Black Holes in the bottom of the lineup with GA/French/KJ to help the top end to keep innings alive to score runs. It is a real shame when we have a rotation that we do and can’t win ball games because we can’t score more than 2 runs a game every night.
I actually hope fall out of the race so that we can sell some of the moveable pieces to get a bat/prospects for a solid run in 10’. This year it has been so painfull to watch this team night in to night out hoping that the offense will show up to go with the consistent SP that we know that we will get to win ball games.
Braves may need to a chance on a few HR potential guys like JFox/Willingham/Luke that will help this team more now with the current OFers and next year where we could make a legit run into the playoffs. No rentals or quick fixes but a long term need for a solution in a Powerbat somewhere in this lineup.
Garrett's been there for the last three weeks or so.

Stuck at 6 because
The Team’s love of the .500 mark. They drop below it, they go one or two above it…they it is an endless circle! It is time for another Chipper pep talk! This time I hope he puts FYF up against a wall and says…dude fake an injury (I heard they do this) for the team so they will place you on the DL!
